Keith Olbermann has single handedly cast doubt on the near confirmed theory that all mainstream American media figures are spineless, unprincipled greedheads who have elevated the art of fellating the Right wing to an art form. This is one of his 'Special Comments', after Fox News tried to play the next move in the 'Clinton was responsible for 9-11' game, but came badly unstuck.
His Special Comments have grown more and more direct, pointed and honest. The blistering venom of these segments is made all the more lethal by the fact that unlike Faux News, he sticks to the proven facts. This is one of the best.
Just in case, here's the interview in question.

My dear fellow, I realize that this little blog of yours is for the most part an exercise in comedy, but I fail to see the humour in your saying that Olbermann "sticks to the proven facts." I refuse to countenance the absurd possibility that you were being serious.
In the unlikely event that you were being serious, can you take a dekko at this little riff of his, and point out where the "facts" are? Its completely a fact free zone, and he seems to know even less than Bush about the Constitution or Habeas Corpus.
"all mainstream American media figures are spineless, unprincipled greedheads who have elevated the art of fellating the Right wing to an art form."
Another joke clearly. I cast my eye over the American media landscape and I see dominant figures like the New York Times, The Washington Post, NBC, ABC, CBS. Their coverage of the Bush administration and the right wing has ranged from the reluctantly tolerant to the outrightly hostile. If this is fellatio, then fellatio has changed a heck of a lot since those heady days (no pun intended) when Clinton was in office.
Are you talking about the cable channels? The cable channels are, at this point, mere bit players in the media market. Even Fox News, which has the largest viewership of the cable channels, has barely a fourth of the viewership of any of the networks. And their coverage I would characterize as heavy petting rather than the full Lewinsky ...
